PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC)
During your IDC, you will learn to conduct all PADI core courses. You will be able to organize and present information, conduct skill development sessions, and control open-water dives.
Once you have successfully completed your PADI IDC, you will be qualified to attend your PADI Instructor Examination.
After completing your PADI IE, you’ll be qualified to teach the following PADI Courses: Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, Divemaster, Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty, and Project AWARE courses.
PADI Divemaster
This is where it all begins! The PADI Divemaster course is the first step in your professional scuba career.
Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins here. You will work closely with several PADI Instructors as you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.
Cozumel Dive Master Internships

Assistant Instructor
At SUGAR LAND DIVE CENTER, as a PADI Assistant Instructor, you gain additional experience as a PADI Professional and start learning the PADI System of diver education. You can act as an instructional scuba assistant and assume limited teaching responsibilities. It’s a great way to gain experience in order to become a scuba instructor!
Master Scuba Diver Trainer Prep
The Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating sets you apart from other dive instructors
by showing your commitment to continuing your dive training and being prepared to help others continue their training as well. You also get to teach specialty diver courses, opening the door for more work opportunities.
